Your data is stored on secure servers located in Madagascar and/or in other countries where Misy operates.

  • Account and trip data are kept for as long as you maintain an active account and for a maximum of 5 years thereafter for legal or evidential purposes.

  • Location data is retained only as long as necessary for the ride, then anonymized or aggregated for analytics.

  • Marketing data is kept until you withdraw your consent.

7. Location Data

7.1 Usage

  • Match you with nearby drivers.

  • Provide real-time trip tracking.

  • Offer relevant promotions based on your location.

  • Improve traffic analysis and service availability.

7.2 Background Location Collection

We may collect location data when the app is closed to:

  • Speed up ride requests.

  • Provide accurate driver arrival estimates.

  • Allow drivers in “online” status to receive ride requests.

  • Analyze aggregated mobility patterns to optimize routes and service reliability.

7.3 Location Data for Targeted Advertising

With your consent, anonymized background location data may be used to deliver more relevant ads.
We never share your precise location with advertisers.

7.4 Control

You can manage location data collection in your device settings and adjust preferences in the app.
